LIGHT CASTS ITS SHADOW
One of the most enthralling aspects of light is its shadow.
Just as light defines space, it’s “darker” side - shadow defines light and augments it. It’s a sister/brother act, a yin/yang as they play off each other.
Water is a great reflector of whatever is above it
It soon becomes obvious that without matter or some object there could be no understanding of light, shadow and color. They need this element and its shape to define light, shadow and color They play off of of the objects and change the look of the object's contours with the arc of the sun. So with nightfall all becomes contourless, until the sun once again rises. Arc of the Sun
After a rainfall puddles formed on the roof of a building. The skylight, like Narcissus grabbed the chance to catch its reflection
